Jason T. Campbell
Mr. Campbell worked as an assistant attorney general for the North Carolina Department of Justice, where he represented the North Carolina Department of Transportation (DOT) before joining the NC Eminent Domain Law Firm. In his 13 years with the DOT, Mr. Campbell's experience included functioning as the lead attorney on a case with the largest exposure the Department had ever faced.
"Working for the DOT really opened my eyes to what the eminent domain process is like in North Carolina," Mr. Campbell said. "I saw firsthand the difference between property owners who hired a qualified attorney and those who did not. I want to make sure each and every one of my clients is heard and I'm excited to put my experience to work for them every time."
Mr. Campbell joined the NC Eminent Domain Law firm in 2013. The NC Eminent Domain Law Firm is a standalone practice working under the umbrella of the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, a firm comprised of over 25 attorneys and over 100 professional staff. The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin have been helping people fight for their legal rights since 1997.
Mr. Campbell received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1994. Three years before, he graduated from Wayne State University, where he received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics.
Mr. Campbell has taken dozens of cases to trial in North Carolina, including a number of high-dollar, high-exposure cases, acting as lead attorney and arguing cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Mr. Campbell is a member of the Wake County Bar Association.
"Whether you are rich or poor, whether you have a lot of land or a little, my goal is to make sure that every landowner has a voice and receives just compensation for giving up their land," eminent domain attorney Jason Campbell said.
