The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) plans to widen to four lanes a 7.1-mile stretch of NC-211 from NC-73 to Holly Grove School Road (SR 1241) in West End, North Carolina.

The purpose is to create a continuous four-lane boulevard stretching through Moore County – from Hoke County to east Montgomery County.

Property Takings

It is estimated that more than 90 parcels of property will be impacted by this project. Currently the NCDOT has set aside $14,233,000 for right-of-way takings.
